Real Estate, or more specifically the Real Estate Industry, is a racket.
You can disagree, but a realtor once confessed to me that the only reason for the very existence of real estate agents is to make the process of selling, or buying, a home as simple and stress-free as possible for the client.
Yet from personal experience over the past year, that is not the case. Not by a long shot.
Of course, part of my problem is my own fault. Over the course of time, I’ll try to explain that. A lot has to do with my own inexperience in the transfer of real property. Still, I can’t help but believe that the “Realtor” is supposed to understand that aspect. Hence, the reason for his or her existence: To make it as painless as possible, particularly for the inexperienced.
I’ve learned two things:
- Crooked, unscrupulous realtors abound, and
- Even honest realtors don’t always know what they’re doing.
I chose the latter, and got screwed by the former. Or was it actually the latter? My story will unfold in the days to come.
I’d be interested in your comments, just to take the temperature at the start.

A new search tool for Missouri real estate is proving to be an effective way to find the most interesting homes. I decided to do a quick search for homes that are priced above $4,000,000 in the Branson, MO area. Much to my surprise there was one. In fact the home I found was is nearly $5,000,000, but who’s counting?
Although the home is listed as a single family home, I’m sure it is large enough for more than one. This could truly be considered a dream home.

Some people think that selling homes is easy. Actually it is not quite so. It is not a piece of cake which you can give to anybody. Selling your home is a major decision to make. However, selling homes require a lot more considerations to take charge of.

Certainly you may think that if the home you are selling exudes a fine aroma the buyer will already be left in awe and amazement, thus, finally deciding on buying it. So, you are wrong as this may not always be the case. Home sellers need to prepare their homes to be able to reach a top-dollar sale.
The prospect home buyers will first look at a line of choices of homes to buy before finally pinpointing to one particular investment. Light up the home.
Ensure a good lighting system that will enhance the atmosphere of the home. Let the home shine.
Never fail to wash the walls and use fresh paint.
Buyers would want the best from their money spent. So, they will not long to have too much repair expenses in the future.
Selling homes is important to prioritize the appeal that will be created. First impression lasts in selling homes. You can say goodbye to a possible handsome amount when any flaw has been seen by the buyer.
